Portland: A Gentrification Game

“Portland: A Gentrification Game” is an interactive website that tells the story of gentrification in the whitest major U.S. city – Portland, Oregon, where I was born and raised. The site includes 3 satirical interactive games made with p5.play, p5.js library for creating games. The first game takes on the role of a programmer that has recently relocated to Portland, the second is a developer, who destroys historical homes, and last is a homeowner who has lived in Portland his whole life. All the illustrations in the site are my own.
